We offer both group and private lessons to the community.
In our lessons we will focus on:

- Animal husbandry
- Animal behavior
- How a horse communicates
- Nutrition
- Grooming
- Saddling
- Saddle and bridle parts and applications
- Care and first aid
- Nature horsemanship training
- Riding in the arena and on trail
- Problem solving
We feel so
strongly that working with horses provides life lessons for our students. They are learning patience, determination,
responsibility, the importance of caring for another life, respect, compassion,
confidence, a sense of accomplishment for their hard work and self-esteem. All of these characteristics create confident
and productive members of society.
Our program
goes far beyond just learning to ride or care for a horse. We have tiers levels in our lesson program,
allowing the older kids to mentor the younger kids in an encouraging and
confidence building atmosphere. Our
program encourages and fosters leadership skills in all of the children as they
strive to grow in hopes of volunteer teaching at the ranch. It also offers high school kids the
opportunity to earn their volunteer hours at school by assisting us at the
training facility.

love to have you come out and watch our lessons. It is important to us that you feel
comfortable at our place. When you feel
at home, it creates a comfortable learning environment that will allow your
children to excel.
